Biography
Lingma Lu teaches in the areas of programming, database and web applications development. She is actively engaged in curriculum development and scholarly activities and has published papers and given presentations at a number of national and international conferences. She is a STEM Education Innovation & Research Institute faculty associate and has been a member of IU Indianapolis’ Community of Practice on Intercultural Learning since 2015.
Lu devotes herself to high-impact practices such as service learning and global learning. She has developed several international collaboration programs such as 2+2 programs and pre-master’s programs with overseas institutions in India and China.
Lu won the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2019, IU’s Trustees Teaching Award in 2017, and was honored at IU Indianapolis’ Celebration of Teaching and Engaged Learning in 2020.
