Seven graduate students of the School of Informatics and Computing are scheduled to present posters as part of the 2011 IUPUI Research Day on Friday, April 8.
Participating students include Media Arts and Science students Freddy Barnes, Marcelo Espinosa and Chauncey Frend, as well as Bioinformatics students Gokhul Kilaru, Tulip Nandu, Yogesh Pandit and Rini Pauly.
IUPUI Research Day is the university’s open house celebration of its cutting-edge and multi-faceted research and scholarly activities. The event begins with undergraduate and graduate student poster presentations, followed by a distinguished guest lecturer, awards and faculty research poster presentations. The event is open to IUPUI faculty, staff and students, and community partners, with the hope of increasing general awareness or the IUPUI research enterprise and of inspiring new research collaborations.
