The School of Informatics and Computing will have a significant presence at this year’s IUPUI Innovation to Enterprise Showcase and Forum. The work of School of Informatics and Computing faculty and students’ will be on full display in three exhibits during the showcase.
After registration and panel discussion, those exhibiting will be given the opportunity to share and discuss their work with attendees.
Exhibit 10 will feature School of Informatics and Computing associate professor, Jake Chen’s work, exploring how informatics can and does play a role in the discovery of new drugs titled, Informatics for Drug Discovery.
Interim Department Chair of Human-Centered Computing and Assistant Professor of Human-Computer Interaction, Dr. Davide Bolchini and PhD student, Romisa Rohani Ghahari’s work, ANFORA: Aural Navigation Flows on Rich Architectures, will be on display at exhibit 18.
The work of Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Professor of Media Arts, Steve Mannheimer, Associate Professor of Media Arts and Science and Human-Computer Interaction, Dr. Mark Pfaff, Dr. Davide Bolchini, and PhD student, Mexhid Ferati, titled, Audemes, will be viewable at exhibit 19.
The 2013 IUPUI Innovation to Enterprise Showcase and Forum will occur Tuesday, November 19th in the IUPUI Campus Center, CE 450 A and B. The program gets underway with registration beginning at 3:30pm.
The IUPUI Innovation to Enterprise Showcase and Forum highlights the research and creative successes of our faculty, research scientists, and students from across the campus.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
