Each summer, the School of Informatics and Computing offers high school students a unique selection of week-long workshops – fun, interactive learning experiences designed as an introduction to the exciting and growing field of informatics and computing.
These daytime programs on the IUPUI campus provide an opportunity for students who are interested in technology, to explore educational and career paths in the fields of informatics and computing.
Students will engage in immersive, hands-on practice with world-class faculty, using state-of-the-art equipment.
The School of Informatics and Computing recently unveiled the lineup of Summer Workshops for 2014 which includes a new session relating to health and life sciences; Bioinformatics: Explore a Human Genome.
Registration for the workshops is now open. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. Students entering, currently in or graduating from grades 9-12 are eligible to register and attend. No previous experience necessary!
