To better understand and improve life, students in our master’s degree program learn to analyze biological data and apply the analytical skills and those analyses to pioneering research and industry challenges.
You’ll use computational tools and develop applications that bridge the gap between data and discovery—in areas such as natural water resources research and genome biology.

Our faculty will help you select courses that build on your experience and elevate your skills—integrating informatics, computer science, information systems, math, biology, and related areas.
Full-time students can complete the 36-credit-hour program in two years. Part-time study options are available for domestic students.
