NEWM-N 458 Beyond the Frame: New Forms of Video Production

Description
This hands-on course allows students to explore the production of various emerging forms of emerging video in a lab environment. Specific topics can vary from semester to semester, but have included: videomapping, interactive video, branching video, and 360 ˚stereoscopic video embedded in a Unity environment. For students obtaining the Virtual Production certificate, this course will have them explore virtual production techniques using Epic Game’s Unreal Engine and Metahumans with motion and facial capture. The course is the culminating course for our certificate in Virtual Production.
