Description
In this course, students work on production teams to write, preproduce, shoot, and edit a short narrative film. The course takes a novel approach in that the films are shot on location during class time with students rotating through the various crew positions each week. This gives students the opportunity to experience filmmaking from the perspective of various roles, and problem solve on set under their instructor’s guidance. Shooting takes place over six weeks of the course, shooting an entire scene each week.
