Description
This project-based course introduces gameplay scripting in game engines. Students develop 2D and 3D games, implementing player input, object motion, collision response, audio feedback, and other game elements.
Learning Outcomes
- Place game objects in a two-dimensional game scene.
- Program character controls for a three-dimensional game.
- Implement collision detection and response in a video game.
- Identify and fix errors in a game program.
- Track user scores throughout a gameplay session.
- Implement a game user interface.
- Design and program a game that builds on skills developed during the course.
