Description
Study of the creation, publication, and management of documents, images, and other media types on the Web. Topics include Web publishing, asset preparation, document types, contemporary content management systems and their use in the organization. Hands-on experience with contemporary systems for content management.
Learning Outcomes
- Develop and deploy web documents and media using contemporary content management systems.
- Analyze and apply web development strategies effectively through case studies.
- Create a personal website using Adobe Dreamweaver or Aptana, following industry-standard web design practices.
- Manage and optimize web file systems for efficient hosting service operations.
- Select and implement content management systems tailored to organizational requirements and objectives.
