Description
This course introduces digital painting and 2D design in media arts. Students develop a basic understanding of digital software and hardware, conceptual design standards and practices, techniques used in industry, and visual development for films, games, animation, and comic books.
Learning Outcomes
- Use digital painting to bring focus to designs and concepts in desired field.
- Perform a series of exercises to demonstrate understanding of lessons, progression in coursework, and comprehension of the technology used.
- Use techniques and methods to portray specific moods with lighting, color, composition, and values.
- Incorporate designs into visual portfolio and pitch document.
