Description
This is a case-based course on privacy and security in social contexts. Cases address the specific designs of technologies (e.g., P3P, PICS) and discuss how different technically feasible design choices would result in distinct regulatory regimes, business strategies, or support different forms of social interaction. This course focuses on specific security and privacy technologies as sociotechnical systems.
