Description
This course will review how information sciences, computer technologies, statistics, and engineering can be integrated and applied to enhance research and practice in biological sciences. It will study, practice, and summarize cutting-edge computational tools for accessing, searching, retrieving, and analyzing biological data, including sequence alignment, phylogenetic analysis, and structure prediction.
