Description
An overview of economic model building, estimation, and usage. Topics include single and multi-equation system estimation, limited dependent variable regression techniques, hypothesis testing, policy analysis, and forecasting. Various forecasting techniques are discussed, including smoothing and decomposition methods and time series analysis. Projects give the student hands-on experience with the different techniques.
