CSCI-C 323 Mobile Application Development

Description
This course focuses on developing mobile applications for modern platforms and introduces common tools and languages used. The course will emphasize the app development cycle: application design, development, testing, publishing, and distribution; development tools and emulators/simulators; user interface layout; using sensors including touch, geo-location, and orientation; and data management.
Learning Outcomes
- Build small-scale applications to learn various programming concepts and techniques.
- Build applications with user interfaces that includes commonly used layout items.
- Build applications that incorporate common gestures, can use hardware capabilities, including sensors, and can use storage (internal and external).
- Build applications that can be distributed and published.
