Biography
Denise is the Digital Archivist at the Ruth Lilly Special Collections and Archives. Prior to this appointment she worked as the Archives Specialist for Philanthropic Collections.
Before moving to IU Indianapolis in 2015, she worked at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for the American Library Association Archives; the University Archives; and the International and Area Studies Library. She earned an M.L.I.S. from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013, with a focus on digital preservation and applied information science. She holds a B.A. in Linguistics with a minor in Business from the same university.
In December 2017 she earned a Digital Archives Specialist certificate from the Society of American Archivists. She is the Treasurer for the Society of Indiana Archivists, and has been the Web Liaison for the Appraisal and Acquisition of the Society of American Archivists since 2014.
