Biography
From: Kempton, Indiana
Background: I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus in Elementary Education and Special Education AND my Master of Science in Education with a focus in Adult Education both from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. I taught elementary / special education for 5 years and then began working in higher education at Indiana University, Kokomo, IN as an Academic Advisor in the School of Education and General Studies. I began working at IU Indianapolis in February 2014 as the Team Coordinator of the Arts, Humanities, and Human Services (AHHS) Cluster and as a Student Success Advisor in University College. I am excited to help students learn and grow in their different fields of study through the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.

Favorite places I’ve traveled: Door County, WI; Bern, Switzerland; Lake Tahoe
What else? I love spending time with friends and family, including our wonder dog, Luna. I like to go and see movies and listen to live music. I am a competitive game player and enjoy playing all kinds of games with my wife and 2 kids. I love dark chocolate, coffee, pizza, and tacos.
