Research Day held on April 5th at the Campus Center Theater is IUPUI’s Open House celebration of its cutting-edge and multifaceted research and scholarly activities.
The Research Day consisted of a presentation from the IUPUI Glenn W. Irwin, Jr. M.D. Research Scholar Award winner for 2012, Dr. Loren Field, followed by presentations from the 2013 Research Frontiers Trailblazer Award winners. Poster sessions featured undergraduate, graduate and professional student poster presentations. School of Informatics and Computing students presented on topics such as “Navigating the Aural Web” to “Mobile Application for Relief Volunteering Activity After Natural Disaster,” providing highlights of projects in the various programs in the school. The poster session was coordinated by the Center for Research and Learning, plus faculty research poster presentations highlighting the groundbreaking research conducted on the IUPUI campus, and a community showcase coordinated by the IUPUI Solution Center and TRIP.
