Mark Hill, managing partner of Collina Ventures, will serve as the new chairman of the board of directors of TechPoint, Indiana’s statewide technology business initiative.
“Mark has truly been a pioneer in Indiana’s tech sector by founding, building, and investing in a number of firms that are among our most successful technology companies. His passion for Indiana’s tech sector makes him a true leader and visionary,” said Jim Jay, president and CEO of TechPoint. “Mark was in the trenches volunteering his time in support of technology business in our state back when it was an emerging industry. I can’t think of a better champion to lead TechPoint now that the tech sector is more mature and continuing to thrive.”
Hill said he plans to work with TechPoint’s board of directors and staff to increase the organization’s focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. He believes TechPoint can play a larger, more influential role in growing Indiana’s technology businesses by providing enhanced educational opportunities and networking events.
