You are invited to the IU Indianapolis Bot-a-thon supported by TechPoint, the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, and Alleo.
This is a ‘hack-a-thon' for high school students where teams will work on a digital assistant, or bot, that uses Chat GPT to solve a real-world problem. Teams will be competing for cash prizes and scholarships to IU Indianapolis and the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.
No experience needed
Don’t worry if you have never designed a bot before – everyone will start off the day with an instructional session with Professor Fawzi Ben Messaoud.
Our goal is that you will acquire the tools and techniques necessary to design, develop, and customize your very own digital human AI Assistant capable of understanding and responding to human queries.
Our judges will want you to showcase your creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills. Whether you are a beginner or have some prior coding experience, this Bot-a-thon will cater to all skill levels. It's an opportunity to expand your horizons, gain valuable insights from industry professionals, and uncover the limitless possibilities of AI-powered digital assistants.
