Save time and money

Luddy Indianapolis offers credit for prior learning and experience in our health information management programs. These programs are offered in-person and asynchronously online for the busy working professionals. Save time and money while getting a valuable, accredited credential.

How prior learning credits work

Students can be awarded up to 30 credit hours based on the demonstration of prior learning gained through experience in the field. The three ways credits are awarded are:

  • work experience (must be within the last 5 years)
  • previous education
  • certifications (must be current within the last 5 years)

Bonus: Students can also earn additional credits by testing out of courses via comprehensive tests administered by IU.

Accredited by CAHIIM
