Informatics Minor

Technology is everywhere, and the informatics minor helps you confidently work with it across any major. You’ll learn to apply technology to solve problems, design better systems, and improve digital workflows in your field. The program integrates core principles of system architecture with practical application development to enhance your skills and equip you for success in today’s technology-driven careers.

What you'll learn

Students will learn to design effective information systems, apply digital technology to address real-world challenges, and integrate emerging computing applications relevant to their respective fields.

Minor requirements

Students must earn a C- or higher in each individual course as well as a cumulative grade point average of a 2.0 or higher in order to graduate with the Informatics minor.

Students must take at least 3 classes for the Informatics minor from the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering in Indianapolis.
