Combining expertise in biology, engineering, sensors, medicine, mathematics, and computing, our department tackles complex health challenges and drives innovation in life sciences and health care.

This interdisciplinary field leverages biomedical data, modeling, and simulation to drive research, problem-solving, and informed decision-making—spanning molecular systems to population health. It plays a critical role in connecting basic science with clinical practice and translating research into real-world health solutions.
