Biography
Rodney Smith instructs in all areas of digital audio and video production, collaborating with community partners and government agencies as a way to bring project-based learning into the classroom.
Smith has explored how to use visual media in food marketing and promotion, leading to a special summer course, “Food Stories in Digital Media.” He’s also given presentations that focus on project-based learning and digital communications.
Prior to completing his graduate degree, Smith founded Da Capo Productions, a multimedia production company. He also worked in quality control at Walt Disney Records, and he was a mastering engineer with Cinram, Inc.
